If you are a college student in the Searcy area, come join us! This year, we are looking at several ways that we, as Christians, separate ourselves from
others (thus the "Mind the Gap" theme). A large number of university students worship with us at Downtown

Service Opportunities
There are many ways we help the congregation at Downtown and the community of Searcy. Ways to get involved:
Be a teacher or a teacher's aid for children's Bible class - contact
Help with child care for various events - contact
Assist with audio/video during worship - contact
Sing on praise team in a worship service - contact
MORE about what is available for our students:
Our worship service on Sunday mornings at 8:00 or at 10:45. University students typically choose the FLC service. See "What can I expect when I visit?" for more information about the worship services.
University Student Bible Class in the FLC at 9:45. Donuts are served!
On Sunday evenings, we love to have students join a growth group that meets in a home. This gives students a chance to know other members of the congregation in a small group, giving them a "family away from home". There is also a worship service that meets at the church on Sunday nights.
One of the most unique services at Downtown is the 8:30 p.m. "Candlelight service" on Sunday nights where we have communion and sing. This service is very popular with university students, often reaching attendance of 900! Come and experience this awesome time of worship!
On Wednesday nights, our university students join the rest of our body in Bible classes.
If you are going to be attending college in Searcy, we hope you will join us at Downtown!
