Interested in helping with the kingdom work we are doing?

help my familyWe recognize that families come in all shapes and sizes: single parent families, blended families, families with stay at home moms, even families of just one person. A lot of our ministries are designed specifically for the various stages of life to be found in most families, such as children, youth, university students, and MOPS for Mothers of Preschoolers. Leadership Training for Christ (LTC) is another family-centered ministry for 3rd-12th graders and their parents. If you need medical or financial help, see our Christian Health Ministry and our Benevolence Ministry. Or see the Full Ministry List

What most of us need though, regardless of our situation, is a place to connect and to feel like we belong. Make sure you find a "Small Group" to belong to -  people that meet weekly to support and care for eachother.

Here’s what some families have found at the Downtown church:

I appreciate the environment at Downtown for providing a fostering atmosphere which is necessary to challenge our family spiritually.  As Monte Cox has mentioned before, the Downtown church is merely a great “locker room” to prepare us each week to go out and run the race.  Most importantly, the leadership is willing to put the Lord’s work before our individual preferences.   - J Valentine

Downtown is a place to worship, seek and serve God.  The eldership is committed to serving and encouraging each member, drawing us into a closer relationship with Christ.  The worship services are alive and uplifting, filled with spirit and truth.  I cannot imagine a better place to lead my family through this maze of life! - T Jones
